An incredible recreation of feel of Indiana jones, the game starts off with a near flawless recreation of the intro of Raiders of the Lost Ark as the tutorial level and maintains that feeling throughout the game. The first person view is somewhat strange for a game that feels like an Uncharted sequel at times (though the series itself was an Indy homage) but is generally functional. Stealth and combat are satisfying though you are never a one man army; three enemies or more at once is almost nearly always a death sentence. The cutscenes are phenomenal and are shot and lit like they were lifted straight out of an 80’s movie. Troy Baker’s performance is far and away the best in the game and one of his best roles; he is both a perfect Harrison ford mimic as well as putting his own flair on it (and has some impressive Arabic performance during the Egypt level).
