I feel kinda conflicted about this game. It's incredibly jank in an old game way, but it's weirdly incredibly fun in a way I did not expect, like genuinely I have no clue why I put so much time into this, the combat is fine-ish, the exploration is fine, the story is kinda good but also has weird jarring tone-disrupting moments, like when one of the main characters confesses a big secret to the rest of the group, and then suddenly, they begin talking about this same meal that I have watched a cutscene for like 4 times??? I do not know if it is intentional or not. Also if you want the good ending, for some reason you need to 100% it on a playthrough. Which does not remotely make sense because the actual reason why you get the good ending is one specific thing, but because I hadn't gone to one room I hadn't noticed, and gotten this one health upgrade, I got the bad ending lmao. It's also very frustrating beyond that, cause 100%ing it doubles the length of the game, it did not need to be that long. Very gorgeous game to look at.
