Big walk is a one of a kind, utterly perfect game. I feel like I might sound like I'm exaggerating saying this, but there is quite literally nothing like this. This is a once in a lifetime game. This review is kinda just a mess of my thoughts I had to write down :) It's strange for the most immersive game I've ever played, to have weird ant-looking colourful blob guys as your playable characters, with kids toy binoculars and playset trains. But somehow the world and everything in it just fits together. The world is just gorgeous. Beautiful sunsets, water, landscapes. It is a joy to simply walk across the world, even without surprises and puzzles. I just can't get it quite across how much I love this game, it fills my heart with joy and just makes me happy thinking about it. I LOVE BIG WALK!!! Without going into too many specifics, the ending is just so incredible. The way the game reinvents itself at the last minute, taking all these parts and merging them together in the most wonderful and interesting way. Stripping you bare, leaving you vulnerable, and then having you work together even closer than before. Just the feeling of accomplishment, that you did this thing together with your friends god i love it. Letting yourself submerge fully into the experience that is Big Walk, you experience a world that at a glance might look simple, but hides tons and tons of excitement and intrigue right beneath the surface, if you just let it in. It's also a very very hard game to actually finish, playing with a kinda big group having to coordinate all that, especially with so many different timezones, was a nightmare! In a strange way it feels like part of it, not really but just, the way you have to make compromises and work together to make this happen, feels so core to what Big Walk is. If you ever get the chance, please try Big Walk, it can be kinda overwhelming when the game really opens up, but it's a really beautiful and chill experience if you keep with it. I feel like I'm being so annoying in this review I just needed to get all of my love for this game out into words. It's just a beautiful game. Big walk, is my favourite game of all time.
