In the end, Disciples: Domination mostly gets in its own way and gives the impression that, while it has taken a step forward in some areas, these gains are offset by setbacks in others. That doesn’t make it a bad game, but it’s simply not enough to make it stand out in any way. It certainly doesn’t come close to a genre giant like Heroes of Might and Magic, especially in terms of complexity. However, anyone who really enjoyed playing the previous installment will definitely get their money’s worth here as well. The developers, though, could certainly have dared to push the boundaries a little further.
