@dado7's review of Tyrants: Fight Through Time
★★★★★
Know to me as Mega-lo-mania. Interestingly enough, it came from the creators of the football game with the best gameplay ever - Sensible World of Soccer, Sensible software, which I didn't even connect at first. While Cytron masters is the first real time strategy I played on an 8-bit computer, this was the first one on the 16-bit. I liked playing with the blue guy, Madcap, I liked the development tree and how it went through the ages. What I didn't like is that it was not possible to save the game on my computer (like most of the games, which is why arcade games were so hard) so it was impossible to finish it (since I had to switch the computer off from time to time), which I did a lot of years later on an emulator. Spoken voice was also kind of a novelty at the time. Felt a bit clumsy at some points, but it was a great and fun game, unique too.
