The single player campaign is awful with way too much nothing dialogue, the online doesn’t let you do doubles with friends, the mechanics are super stiff and serving specifically feels off and limited like you can’t actually control anything on the serve… but couch co op doubles with 3 friends will always be enjoyable in Mario Tennis and the fever rackets provide enough variety to keep things decently interesting. If this was letterboxd I’d go 2 and a half and a like but I couldn’t really recommend this to anyone who doesn’t already enjoy Mario tennis and have 3 other friends who enjoy it the same, and who doesn’t have Mario Power Tennis which is just the better option.
