I'm sure this game was leaps and bounds better than my first experience with Pearl and Platinum, but it never felt as solid to me. I never had a 3DS so maybe the lack of "immersion" in the wider shots didn't help. I found it harder to follow the story as a kid playing this one compared to Pearl.
