10/10 - Holy smokes this game is insane. While there is plenty of post game still to experience, this game was an absolute delight. Not a single flaw! The rogue light structuring is not nearly as punishing as others I’ve played (e.g. Hades) and once you start to put together a good run, you feel unstoppable. The bosses and music were fantastic but arguably my favorite tho by about this game is the world and how it’s presented (art style). I was able to get the initial ending in about ~12 hours which is a perfect length as life is BUSY. Also felt that this was a perfect game to play on the switch. Early on most runs were 15-20 minutes and then towards the end a run would last around an hour. If I had a spare hour or so, I would pull up this bad boy to run through it. Absolutely intend on continuing through the post game content and potentially 100%. Overall, this may be my favorite Rogue lite game and second favorite indie game just after SilkSong. Can’t recommend this game enough.
