While not the first RE game I ever played (goes to RE0), this was the very first RE game I ever beat. Had stayed up all Friday night to beat it with a friend in high school that weekend of release. ~15 years later does it hold up? Maybe, as a coop game. Solo, it’s fine. First revisit since 2009 but still ended up enjoying it for the most part. The end levels were a bit of a bare the get through as they throw endless amounts of enemies and you have to juggle the Sheva AI. Worth the replay but won’t be going back to this one nearly as much as I have with many of the recent remakes, REmake(2001), OG RE4, and Requiem.
