What a surprise game. This is my first aircraft game ever? And what a start. The hand drawn stills telling the story was something else. I loved the air fights and certain missions. What I was not a fan of was the get x points in x minutes. These felt tedious and not engaging at all. To be fair.. how far can you go with flight combat? With story. If you have dialogue and vested interest in the flight, that's what sells the stakes. Some missions in this have that but most didn't to me. Last note.. this was my favourite era of Namco, Ridge Racer 4&5 and AC 4&5. The aesthetic of all the UI is peel Namco of this time period.
