My most anticipated game I think in my life? Is it linear? Yes. Are there redundant parts? Yes. This was what it was like in the old days. To split up the pacing, the gimmicks etc in the OG. There was parts of this I didn't like but the first playthrough was magical. Rose tinted glasses, sure, but I beat this on ps4, did up to chapter 4 on hard mode then shelved it until rebirth came out...and there it sits. I plan to play remake, intergrade (first time) rebirth and crisis core before revelation, how far we get I won't know lol. I'd recommend to anyone getting into this to just take the ride and enjoy it for what it is. Always start with the og but it's not required (but imo is)
