This was my second Metroid vania after completing SOTN. I was instantly drawn to this game as it has one of the best cold opens ever. It is excellent paced until the later half way mark then it ramps back up again. I preferred SOTN to SM due to this larger backtracking section and getting lost. I also had a lot of difficulty with the multi jump that really grated on me. I played this on the SNES mini, so I'm not sure if this is a input last thing or strictly a skill issue on my part. I still loved this game and would recommend this game to anyone wanting to get into Metroid
