Sky is basically a free-to-play MMO version of Journey. The story isn't as amazing as Journey, but the online interaction made the experience very unique. It gave me perspective of how we took online interaction as granted, and when we removed the language barrier and our biases, people will help each others. I will keep remembering how I just sit alone and random person approached me, and we play some fun gestures. I will forever remember the memory of walking in the arena, and just watching a street music performer playing YOASOBI songs on their piano. After you beat the story, the game became a unique social platform. And what you can do is basically grinding for in-game currencies for cosmetics, or just hanging out with people. I can see that the microtransactions for cosmetics are very pricey, but to enjoy this game, imo you don't need to spend any money. If you have FOMO issues, this game might not be good for you in that regard. To conclude, if you wanted better story and gameplay, buy Journey. If you wanted a free game, very casual, online version of Journey, play Sky.
