call it recency bias if you want but this is GOTY so far for me. this game is soooo fun, the characters are all compelling, the worldbuilding is incredible. i am definitely gonna need to play this again at some point because there are so many different diverging paths in the story, different characters to meet based on your choices etc. everything in this game feels so thought out and it makes it so gripping, i genuinely pained over decisions i had to make, i felt fear for the characters i had learned to love and i was invested in what was going to happen. also they know the gameplay is inherently repetitive and they manage to use that to their advantage, with just enough loops thrown at you to keep it interesting. also obviously the art is SO beautiful, i mean come on. please everyone play this game, it's much more fun to play than to read about.
