I decided to revisit Wii Sports Resort as it was a huge part of my childhood and it’s getting an upcoming reimagining on the switch 2. As far as fun games go this has to he up there. I still adore sword fighting and find the music and gameplay super funny. I find dog Frisbee, wakeboarding and basketball all so much fun still to this day. I understand I have a lot of nostalgia towards this game and there is no completion to be had, but not all games need that to be great. This game definitely to me captures what the Wii was at its best. With flying around the island always being a persona highlight as it’s so relaxing exploring what Wuhu island has to offer. Im so glad I rebought a Wii 2 years ago and have been creating a library for the console I never had as a kid. But boy was I lucky to grow up with this. As someone who’s girlfriend only played Wii sports growing up it’s been so much fun staying up all night showing her games and continuing to game after game of the basketball 3 point challenge to break eachothers scores. It’s seriously a game for everyone and it’s the embodiment of the Wii motion control fun!
