man, what a game… hype: deserved. mass effect 2 takes everything that already made the original great, and just further polishes and adds on to it to take it to new heights. the upgrades in presentation & gameplay are immediately noticeable, the story this time is more character focused & goes to some way darker places, and the overall world of mass effect becomes so such more complex & nuanced than it already was. this is honestly everything you could hope for from a sequel imo. absolutely loved my time spent with this game!! both excited & lowkey nervous to start ME3 lol
